Cinnamon College (USP)

USP is located in NUS University Town, where it has its very own residential college – Cinnamon College (USP). Within this unique space, USP students develop a sense of belonging through living and learning together, making full use of the facilities and resources. They take classes at the learn lobes adjacent to the college block; they share meals with peers and professors, and sometimes, alumni too; they play sports and organise events in the halls; and they hold numerous thoughtful discussions in the Master’s Commons, floors lounges, suites and their common lounge – fondly known as Chatterbox.

USP Pastoral Care

Our community defines us. It is therefore a priority to ensure that we can, and are able to care for each and every one in the USP. Offering first-line counseling care and support to our USP students are Ms Rachel. Please read on for details on pastoral care provision in and outside the USP.

respect

Sexual Respect in the USP

The University Scholars Programme is committed to creating an environment in which people respect each other despite differences between them, as well as feel encouraged to communicate with each other about those differences. Such an environment is one of the conditions for the building of a community.

Sexual respect is a crucial part of such an environment. Although such respect matters both inside and outside the classroom, it is especially pertinent in the residential college, where we live together and occasions for conflict can arise more frequently.

disability

Disability Support Services

USP will work closely with the NUS Disability Support Office to ensure that students with disability are integrated as fully as possible into life at USP and the larger NUS.
