Procedure for Proposing Modules

Introduction of new programmes and their corresponding modules are to be submitted to the University Committee on Educational Policy (UCEP) for transmission to Senate for approval.

Introduction of new modules within approved existing programmes and minor changes to modules (module titles, descriptions, content, etc.) are to be submitted to Board of Undergraduate Studies (for undergraduate courses) and Board of Graduate Studies (for graduate courses) for approval.

Registrar's Office has set the deadline for submitting curriculum changes and proposals for new or revised modules for both semesters to the attention of UCEP/BUS/BGS by April at the latest for implementation in the forthcoming academic year. It is hoped that curriculum changes for Semester 2 would be minimal, and any minor changes where necessary, should be submitted to Registrar's Office by 15 October.

The USP curriculum is currently being planned on a yearly basis.
