Students will be asked to work on a real-life project, to present the findings verbally and to submit the completed work at the end of the course.
The project is carried out in groups of not more than 3 students. The write-up should not exceed 10 pages of A4 format.
Lectures and Tutorials
Lectures: 2hr per week presented by the instructor
Tutorials: 2hr per week where students will present their assignments and cases.

This module contains some topics that can be found in Modules "Uncertainty" and "An adventure in engineering". Some of its contents may also be covered in modules on human behaviour and socio-economic analysis.
