Academic Structure + Modules > Joint Degree Programme > ANU / FASS Selection and Admission

Selection and Admission

The Joint Degree Programme (JDP) is restricted to six students from each institution annually. Application opens in March, after the release of the GCE 'A' Level results. The JDP is only offered to Faculty of Arts students in the University Scholars Programme. Students who are interested in this programme need to indicate accordingly in the USP application, under "NUS/ ANU Joint Degree Programme". There is no need for a separate application.

Shortlisted applicants will be required to attend an interview. They will be assessed on the basis of academic achievements, the essay and the interview. Successful applicants will be accepted into the University Scholars Programme and admitted provisionally into the JDP.

Final selection of JDP students will be made at the end of their third semester of study, based on academic performance in the first three semesters of study (CAP of at least 4.2) and other relevant qualifications.
