S/U Option Policy

Students may not exercise the Satisfactory/Unsatisfactory (S/U) option for the eight First-Tier modules* and four Advanced modules read in fulfillment of the USP requirements.

* Students who read USS2105 University Scholars Seminar in Semester 1 AY2007-08 and before read it on a compulsory Satisfactory/ Unsatisfactory (S/U) basis and may use it to fulfill one of the eight First-Tier module requirements. They should take note that the module will count towards the 12 MCs limit of S/U modules that they can read towards their degree requirements at NUS. More details can be found here: http://www.nus.edu.sg/registrar/edu/UG/graduation.html. On the other hand, students who read USS2105 University Scholars Seminar in Semester 2 AY2007-08 and onwards read it on a Completed Satisfactory/ Completed Unsatisfactory basis (CS/ CU) basis and may use it to fulfill one of the eight First-Tier module requirements.  Students awarded the ‘CS’ grade for USS2105 do not count it towards the 12 MCs limit of S/U modules.
