The past few months were exciting, fulfilling and memorable for many of us in University Scholars Programme (USP). We witnessed the graduation of our final-year students. We saw our students going away for summer programmes, research conferences, fieldtrips, expeditions, exchanges and internships over the vacation break. We had alumni coming back to visit and update us of their whereabouts and achievements. We celebrated numerous accolades of students and alumni. We had fun at Bintan and the Commencement Dinner, and over watermelon grown on USP premises. And most recently, we welcomed in our new batch of freshmen, and a new team of students to lead our Scholars Club. There are just too many stories to tell and countless experiences to share. This colourful issue of ebulletin gives you a glimpse of some of these wonderful things (we had to save others for a later issue!), along with a thought-provoking message from our Director.
